We are Liv Darcy Studio, a photography and creative studio based in Sweden, photographing destination weddings across Europe. From the south of France and the Italian countryside to the Swedish archipelago and historic estates, we love travelling for weddings that feel deeply personal and connected to their surroundings.
For us, destination wedding photography is about more than documenting a beautiful day. It is about capturing the atmosphere of the place, the people you have gathered around you and all the moments that happen in between. The morning light, a long lunch, a nervous laugh before the ceremony, the way everyone changes when the music starts. The things you will remember long after the day is over.
Destination wedding photographers in Europe
We photograph weddings throughout Sweden, France and Italy, as well as other destinations across Europe. We are drawn to celebrations with a strong sense of place – a historic estate in the Swedish countryside, a private villa in Provence or a centuries-old property surrounded by olive groves in Sicily.
Our approach combines documentary photography with an editorial eye. We want your photographs to feel natural and honest, while still having the considered composition, light and visual quality we love.
We work as photographers, but also as storytellers. Rather than directing every moment, we give space for things to unfold naturally and step in when a little guidance helps create something beautiful.
Weddings with a sense of place
One of the things we love most about destination weddings is that the location becomes part of the story.
The architecture, landscape, food, flowers, interiors and light all contribute to how a wedding feels. A wedding in Provence should feel different from one in Sicily or on the Swedish coast, and we want our photography to reflect that.
We photograph the full experience of a destination wedding, from welcome dinners and intimate gatherings to the ceremony, dinner, dancing and everything in between.
From Sweden to France and Italy
Our home base is Sweden, but our work regularly takes us across Europe.
